Earth Day Celebration

April 22
10 am - 5 pm

Celebrate Earth Day with us!

Activities abound that focus on our amazing planet! Join us for Earth-themed StoryTimes, glittery henna tattoos and Encana’s 3D sandbox where you can create geographical landscapes like mountains, rivers and plains.

Other awesome Earth Day activities include:

10 am  - 12 pm: "Undoing the Mess" with Denver Water, an activity focused on water pollution.

10:30 - 11:30 am: Make your own flower seed balls to throw in your yard to blossom throughout the summer!

2:30 pm: A special guest appearance by Dave Johnson, a Denver Zoo zookeeper, will read his book, “Narayani: The Unicorn of Nepal” and share his thoughts on conservation.

1:30 - 2:30 pm: Plant your own veggie seeds to take home and harvest!

Earth Day Giveaway!

Earth Day is also great time to remember that water is a precious resource in Colorado and that we’re all responsible for using water wisely. To celebrate Earth Day, Denver Water is handing out a shower timer to the first 500 families at the Children’s Museum on April 22!

Activities included with Museum admission.

Thank you to our Earth Day Partners!
